Terms and Conditions

All prices stated are net, VAT on coach hire is zero-rated. To accept a quotation and make a booking, you, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Client’ must send a written confirmation to ‘CiTiLiNK SOLUTiONS Ltd’ hereinafter referred to as ‘the Company’. The quotation is subject to a vehicle being available. When the Company receives written confirmation the Company shall be the sole judge of such availability. Any amendments to the booking MUST be made in writing. The balance of the hiring charge must be paid at least 7 days before the date of journey unless agreed beforehand. Fuel surcharges may be added to any booking at any time. Cancellations must be made in writing and the Client agrees to pay the Company on demand a sum not exceeding the hiring equivalent. The appropriate cancellation charges become payable: Less than 7 days notice a £25 admin charge, Less than 48 hours notice 100% of the hire is payable as to the amount of such sum the Company shall be the sole judge and may use its discretion to issue a credit note. Unless the said sum shall be paid upon demand it shall become a debt due from the Client to the Company and shall be immediately recoverable as such. All requests for the hire of a specific vehicle are accepted subject to availability. If that vehicle is not available the Company reserves the right to substitute an alternative vehicle including those of other operators. No more than the maximum permitted number of passengers may be carried on each vehicle. The Client is responsible for all parking charges and any fines incurred when under the instruction of said Client. Variations in the journey will only be accepted subject to prior commitments of the Company. If the arrival of a Clients flight is delayed the driver will continue to wait at the airport unless instructed otherwise or unless he is informed that the plane’s arrival will be abnormally delayed, in such circumstances an additional charge may be made at the appropriate rate for the vehicle in respect of the time spent by the driver in waiting at the airport. The Company reserves the right in its sole discretion to recall a driver from the airport if he is required to carry out his duty elsewhere or if he continued presence would result in him exceeding his legal driving hours or if the plane’s arrival will cause the driver to wait for an abnormal length of time or in any other circumstances as the Company sees fit. Where the Company hires in vehicles from other operators at the request of the Client or where the Company arranges ancillary facilities such as meals, accommodation, ferries, shuttles, admission tickets or any other services provided by another contractor it does so as agents for and on behalf of the Client. Any terms and conditions imposed by such other contractors through the Company shall be binding on the Client as if he had contracted such services. Other than on a vehicle fitted expressly for the purposes, food and drink may not be consumed on the vehicle without prior arrangement from the Company or the driver. The hours agreed with the Company for the operation of any hire(s) must be observed (excluding emergencies or diversions) so that current regulations governing drivers hours and rest periods may be complied with, the Company reserves the right to curtail or otherwise alter any hire which does not comply with relevant regulations. The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Any passenger whose conduct is in breach of statutory regulations may be removed on the driver’s authority. The Client will be held responsible for the conduct of passengers and any damages caused to the vehicle by passengers during the hiring. Harpenden to London shuttle services tickets: All journeys must be booked 24 hours prior to the date of travel to ensure service and overbooking is not affected. Tickets are not transferable and remain the property of the Company throughout their validity. Tickets will be inspected by the driver and withdrawn in case of misuse and any remainder journeys canceled e.g. use by a person other than to whom the ticket was issued. Passengers may not travel without a valid ticket and anyone who has purchased a season ticket but is not carrying it with them when boarding a coach will be required to purchase a ticket to travel, the cost of which is not refundable.
1. Service operates Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. Special services operate over Christmas and New Year.

Pay As You Ride single/daily returns to be used only on the day that they have been purchased for. These tickets cannot be refunded. **Flexi-Book service is a return booking option only, and can be booked for either 5 or 10, weekday travel and must be used in full within 30 days of purchase any unused travel dates will be deemed used after the 30th day from purchase. Flexi-Book also offers the user the option to be able to book a seat and if the user is unable to make the booked departure time and providing they have sent email confirmation to info@citilinksolutions within 2 hours for return journeys(WHD) and 1 hour for departure journeys(HHS) of departure time to cancel their requirements then they will not be charged for that particular leg of the journey. This free cancellation condition is only allowed to be used three times in any 30 day period.
